About Happy Howlers

Happy Howlers

Hello! I’m Hannah, the proud owner and passionate animal advocate behind Happy Howlers Pet Services. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I want to share a little about myself and what inspired me to create this service.

Dogs have been a huge part of my life since childhood - from our fiercely loyal Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Ginger, to a series of adventurous English Setters, and a quirky yet lovable Border Collie, Colby Jack. They weren’t just pets; they were family.

As an adult, my love for animals led me to foster dogs through a local rescue, and it quickly became one of the most meaningful parts of my life. Helping nervous, overlooked pups find confidence and comfort reminded me just how much a safe, loving home can do. Those experiences continue to shape how I care for every pet I meet - with patience, compassion, and respect for their unique story.

I became a full-fledged dog mom myself in 2020 when my husband, Sam, and I foster-failed Orion, our beloved husky-shepherd rescue and my best friend (sorry, Sam)! Like many pet owners, I struggled to find reliable, high-quality, and personalized care for Orion when I needed to be away. That challenge inspired me to establish a service that meets this need. Happy Howlers isn't just a business; it's a reflection of my commitment to ensuring that every pet receives the care and attention they deserve, even when their owners are away.

Through my years of experience, I've honed my ability to connect and work effectively with dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I recognize the importance of providing not only physical exercise but also mental stimulation to keep our four-legged friends happy and balanced. Whether it's a long walk, engaging playtime, a quick training session, or just some quiet cuddle time, I’m committed to meeting the individual needs of every animal in my care.

Thanks for taking the time to check out Happy Howlers. When you’re ready, I’d be honored to care for your pet like one of my own!
